Spirit Projects

The project consists of a performance, graphite drawings and chalk drawings. The research and work were made 2014-2015 starting with a question from Dr.Thomas Karlsson, occultist and writer, to make a performance on an esoteric conference at Villa San Michele, Capri – Italy.
In the performance the Swedish doctor Axel Munthe meets the Marchesa Casati. Axel’s Meal is composed of three acts: Cooking Show, Talk Show and Ritual. It was performed in the chapel of Villa San Michele.

Project Axel

The project consists of graphite drawings, chalk drawings on a blackboard, a performance and a blog.
Since early in the 80’s I was fascinated by the artist Hilma af Klint. 2014 I did an Artist-in-residence at Art Lab Gnesta in Sweden. I stayed in a small cottage and lived as close as possible to the life that Hilma lived 100 years ago.
The residency included close reading of texts by Rudolf Steiner as well as mediumistic art making. Hilma’s Meal is composed of three acts: Cooking Show, Talk Show and Ritual. It was performed in the art hall of Art Lab Gnesta.

Project Hilma

The project consists of big charcoal drawings, a performance and an essay. 2012 I took a course on Artistic Research at Konstfack which resulted in a work about the Swedish mystic Emanuel Swedenborg. After a lot of close reading, writing and drawing, the project led to A Meal in Swedenborgs Summerhouse, a performance composed of three acts: Cooking Show, Talk Show and Ritual.
The performance took place in the replica of Swedenborg’s Summerhouse at Södermalm in Stockholm, Sweden.
